t 80 BVM add on armor

why that thing can counter even apfds when its suposed to be chcemical? its some Rasputin magic in those ERA packs? Im bit salty because, that thing really anoys me, angled BVM wth add on can stop 481pen like,,,, dude

Relikt counters both Chemical and Kinetic rounds, it's not the same as Kontakt 1, hell even Kontakt 5 counters kinetic rounds.

ERA can still counter kinetic rounds, it's less effective against them, but it can and will still stop your rounds from penning at the right range and angle, unless you learn to aim for the driver viewport, the lower plate, the turret ring, the gun mantlet, etc etc. There's plenty of weakspots

Ofcourse angled with add on armour , those kinectic rounds will have alot more mass to penetrate, its obvious that, i think.

either aim for lower part of the tank... or directly at the gun since you can't properly armor that piece of equipement . and pray. Pray alot.

then its really interesting, because now I did sit in t80 bvm, and was even on bigger angle then mention above, and leopard 2a4 with its 411mm pen or smthng like that did pen me, throught that extra armor.... yea, and in hangar it show extra protection vbs apfsds 20mm, so dont tell me its vs apfsds too

Why are you shooting its era in the first place thats a ♥♥♥♥ spot to shoot and if you know youre up against a bvm why shoot it there you know it has era on sides shoot it in the breach or lower glacis or literally anywhere that doesnt have era

Thats a tiny target and if angled wont do anything forcing you to breach or try and get through the side which is not a option for weaker rounds

ANGLED bvm, exactly... you have better chances to shot throw lower plate and probally result will be better then driver spot...

All I want is that 481 pen muni would go throught that extra era package, as it should. But its broken sometimes it doesnt.... at least my 2a6 muni go throught always, but strv 122 with its 481mm pen should go always too

I would say the inclusion of the armour package was mistake while its useless against the other meta top tier nations (Usa , Germany , Japan(type 10)) it does screw over (italy , france , uk , sweden) making it almost invulnerable apart from breach if they angle. A solution could be a artificial shell buff as some of these are not getting anything better. I think it should be removed as while worthless against some nations it very hard counters others with their current shells

bruh. U might wanna check your eyes cuz the game clearly tells you that bvm era has 250mm equivalent protection against kinetic for frontal era blocks, and 120 mm for side era blocks.

agreed, but game tells me 250 front, BUT 20 sides, you really have there writen 120? I have it on english and it writes 20 for me

i use english client as well. Go on. Show us a screenshot where it says 20mm against kinetic on the side era block
