No, its a confirmed bug since the FM was released. Sim players cuaght it first. Gotta remember, some WT players take ti hardcore and run with manual, indiviual engine controll.
Take it out under Full Aircraft Controll, check your guages, only one engine.
Shut down the "running" engine, and the non-running one will spin and make the sound of running, but will not generate any thrust. You will fall out of the sky.
The reason turning is so sluggish is becuase the Ai-Instructor is compensating for unballanced thrust all the time to keep steady. Its constantly fighting against itself and you to fly straight.
You might turn better under low throttle, same process as running on a single engine, dont rev it to high and keep yhe torque down. But now you are flying it like its hurt, which kinda sucks.
The silver linning? Think how good it will be with twice the power behind it :)
Wow I didn't know that. I'm hoping that it is actually going to boost the performance once they fix it and doesn't just show you that you have 2 engines on the UI.
If you can unlock belts for it, use tracer belts. It's 100% incendiary tracers, and with 6 M3 brownings firing 1,200 RPM, that's setting people on fire pretty darn fast. But really, I prefer a P51 or something else on my lineup, the F82 is so situational. If they don't have attackers and their bombers fly high, you have no targets, and you're a target the size of 2 planes.
