What's wrong with Bf-109 G-2?

The stat card shows some promising qualities, yet the plane is extremely sluggish, loses energy instantly, can hardly turn at any speed. Is the stat card extremely outdated and false?

Just had an infuriating encounter with a P-63A-5 (premium...) where I started with a good altitude advantage, but he climbed vertically towards me, retaining blazing speed, immediately got on my tail, and despite his loss of energy in the climb and (officially) inferior stats in all areas, he just folded on me and danced around me... The engine overheating almost like a stock Sakeen also doesn't help.

I hated spading this plane in air RB and I hate it now, what is the deal? It's the only Bf-109 I cannot find enjoyable in any way and encountering with other nations it in battle is usually a free kill. My air K/D in all other Bf-109 variants is above 2, yet with this one it is hardly above 1.

How should this craplane be flown? I think my biggest issue with it is its horrid turning performance compared to all other 109s and absolutely atrocious energy retention.

The rest of the nations have equal or better tech to fly with by then :)

I can shoot Bf 109s down with an SB2U-C so it might be a little underpowered actually.
