I understand where you are coming from but I feel that in 300 hours most multiplayer games are mostly done with the grinding until something new is added. But in warthunder it usually takes 5,000+ hours to grind like 3 trees but idk.

This is not like most multiplayer games though. I am at 3 thousand hours and have almost all USA, China and Italy. The feeling of having everything usually turns me off to a game especially if everyone has what i have, it kind of loses the magic.

Most purchasable premium vehicles aren't significantly better than the tech tree equivalents outside a few exception. You can be very successful in the game without those. Premium vehicles are mostly there to make the grinding process of the tech tree faster and easier. They also will make you earn more silver lions, the ingame money. This isn't trully pay-to-win, it's rather pay to progress.

One of the two real pay-to-win aspects of the game is in fact paying to accelerate the crew skills in your lineups. It can make a massive difference compared to low level crews and it's crazy long to grind crew xp without premium time/premium vehicles.

Another aspect is the purchase of bushes to hide your vehicle in the landscape. Aside making them less conspicuous in wooded areas, a lot of people use this to hide their vehicles' weak spots which can make them much tougher to destroy when you are inexperienced in the game. Other than that, the things you can buy don't make a ton of difference in how well you will perform.
