find the settings icon click it > files and disk space > disk space limit toggle on > set your own limit
bring out overlay > highlights > either toggle off highlights entirely or toggle it off the supported game list
Open the Overlay in game with Alt+Z, select the "Highlights" option in the Overlay, then toggle "Capture Highlights" to off.
You can also open the Nvidia App, use Alt+Z, select the "Highlights" option in the Overaly, then toggle "Capture Highlights" to off.
If you're not seeing these options, go to Nvidia's website and download their new Nvidia software. It replaces Nvidia GeForce Experience with a much better optimized application.

I've tried this recently (March/April 2025), and while those option to turn it off is there, every time I exit a game, that stupid highlights sidebar pops open on the left of my screen again. Any other suggestions?
