What's the deal with T55E1?

Just got this goofy ahh tonk from BP lvl 38 crate (wished for Toldi or Ga-Ka-Chi tbh), is it of any use these days? I imagine it potentially being strong back in the years there were no MBTs and radars in the game, and even more so volumetric shells (and maps actually all had positions and routes for flanking), but today I just don't know if it can do things (performance-wise and fun-wise) the over-BRed M18 can't do.

Doesn't it bother you that I am the OP, who was asked why MBTs and radars were mentioned in the first place, and who would give an explanation to that? (＠_＠) I'm reading what people have answered about the T55E1 itself, yes, but for ones who were curious what tier V+ features have to do in the starting post of mine, I gave that 'wall of text' as you disparagingly call it. Looks like you and Canadian Guitar both wanted to rather start a conflict out of the blue than contribute to the discussion.

Dunno how I missed that its your thread lol? Then agian its probably because your OP is on about a 4.3 vehicle then you're suddenly start going on about 7.7 vehicles and radar guided spaa's etc....

If you want people to read it, it kinda is. If you don't break up the masses of text you throw out, people often find it unpleasant to read and therefore, they won't. Why bother typing anything if people aren't going to read it? Though your walls of text aren't as bad as some that people put out with no punctuation at all. I've seen 30+ line lone run-on sentences that are so poorly written that you literally can't understand what is being said. Your stuff is at least understandable.
