Why :(
I already posted this before... I still never got an answer.... Custom sights are still broken.

They work for the first life, everything after doesn't appear. You can no longer give new tanks custom sights, you cannot add new sights either. There is the new "tank_sight_presets" folder, which overrides your specific vehicle folders. Trying to copy paste old Sights into this new folder breaks them. The .blk is there, but refuses to work. stupid ass system they've implemented. How the hell can I get my custom sights onto old and new vehicles?!?!?

If that was true then why would there be sights uploaded today?

I do not know. I have searched for a solution. I have found none.... I not a developer.... I do not know how to find the exact name for a vehicle.

Dunno what you're on about eg my custom sight for the ONTOS and AVRE are still working fine...

Are you sure the sights are not listed in the drop down sight list on the 'scopes' menus screen like they are for me?

Some of them are, but they don't work! I'm so lost with all this convoluted "solutions" on the forums. How did you get it to work?

Weird as i just got that sight to work with no issues....'shrugs'

Edit:Just tried to add a sight for my Type 75 MLRS and it shows in the list in the scopes selection, i save it as a preset but it doesn't work so I think Gaijin have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ summin up for it to work on some vehicles but not others...

Try saving it with the top left save option as I just got the sight my my mlrs to work aftet saving it via that option.

ED:Then again I didn't do that for my chi-has sight and it worked fine...summin funky is deff going on! The only thing I did different that seemed to get my mlrs sight to work was clicking on the 'save' in the top left of the sights screen....odd!

Yeah seems like you need to save it with the top left 'save' not the preset (that is just for saving your own customized sights) Just got the type 74 sight to work with no issues

I just got the type 74 sight working with no issues, i just picked it from the drop down menu and made sure to save it with the top left save, not preset save. You got the sights saved in the right spot? I guess so as you see them in your list of available sights..

I just downloaded a new scope and its working with no issues Type 61 - https://live.warthunder.com/post/1121019/en/

Dropped the folder containing the sight into my 'Usersights' folder in WT's main directory
Went to customise sights
Selected it from the drop down menu on the right and then saved it with the top left' save option...

I've just gone through all the vehicles I've got custom sights downloaded for and they all work fine it seems..well in test drive at least.
