I'd never pay a single cent for such a mediocre tank as a 2A4, especially not at the moment where high and top tier teams are predominantly premiums without a clue. Leo2PL is a decent tank and worth to put your squadron research into. DM43 is good enough and it has good thermals. But there is no point to ruin teams if you have no further lineup at the BR to back up your tank.

Gaijin seems to think that the Canadians made a front pike that is only 10mm thick and just empty inside cause they don't know how to read and refuse to accept the fact that the 2A4M is supposed to have an armour insert instead of just an empty hole cause they got one photo of one on a training field with it removed.

In reality, the Leopard 2 is a fortress head-on. In the game, the armor is as full of holes as a Swiss cheese. I do not recommend the purchase of any premium Leopard 2. You get the Leopard PL for free. Therefore, just try it out as soon as you have it.

Whats with all this cope in the comments? ALL leo 2 tanks are god tier in war thunder and beat anything else easily if you are a good player. Dont waste your money on the leo2 PL though because it doesnt give you premium bonuses where you can grind the entire tree.

Just dont brawl and you will be ok.

You simply can't go wrong with Leopard 2's, overall the best all around tanks in the game
