2) The maps are made to look pretty and be somewhat accurate to their real counterparts rather than play well.
3) Based on the recent changes to Sinai, Gaijin appears to encourage the spawn-to-spawn sniping.
Im going crazy if they introduce another ww2 city map in high tier.
complaining accomplishes nothing
to date the only thing that made them listen was the review bombing campaign
"bro I need to get into battle fast" - and then complains about spawn camping after loosing the first encounter
"but I'm the better shooter bro" - rushes into the enemy head on (zerg rush)
lemming train anyone? - the moment you know you lost, when it forms on certain maps ...
"bro they shot me from the flank - get rid of flanking options" - drives headless over open fields straight towards the objective
Or did you notice that many people do not even know how to mark on the map if they see enemy or they respawn and not even marking the spot from where they where killed .
Welcome to 2024
Same with the game modes
To sum it up easily, the core design of the game is completely obsolete for what they want to add to the game
These are the reasons of the poor player experience, not that a certain vehicle is stronger or weaker
Then why do Gaijin keep making those maps so anachronistic? North Holland, for example, is clearly designed for WWII tanks with their limited capabilities, but it's just too modern for them in appearance with all the shopping malls, Cold War era cars, parkings, other architecture. Same for numerous other maps, so that they don't fit tanks of any era: either playing comfort, or atmosphere/aesthetics are ruined.
The map designer must've spent some time in Aslum iykwim
north holland is just a reskin of 1 of the older maps in a new skin
