To one player, spending no money in the past 5 years may be worth it.
To another, spending $100 and getting 10 hours of playtime might be worth it.
Or $50 and 4 years of play time.
List goes on.
I've played since 2013, I typically spend about $100 a year when the big sales roll around. Though I didn't really spend anything that I can recall until 2015/2016. Then again I have over 8k hours on steam and more before WT was on steam, and I still play with squaddies and friends weekly.
Pretty much this:
To OP
I have 2,000 hours in the game and have spent only enough that I would of buying some other game...
Basically you get out what you put in, nothing more
Just remember one thing, just because you can buy tanks you can't buy skills, so if you think throwing money at things make you a better player and it will make it more "fun"... that doesn't happen
It definetly has it's moments and can lead to very satisfying situations, but it's important to keep in mind this game is a lot more about quantity than quality
