The kingcobras suck hard untill spaded and even then I didn't have much fun with them - good bomber hunters tho.
I don't like the corsairs, it is not my playstyle, I prefer going as fast as possible.
Also... lightnings, all of them are quite decent.
If you know how to head-on properly you will have plenty of fun in that br regardless of plane.
The yak9u at 4.7 go as fast as you at sea level, turn and climb 2x better than you.
