War Thunder

Vezi statistici:
Anyone else agree base AAA needs fixed?
I was just playing a match in which I was attempting to chase down the last enemy plane and for whatever reason, he felt it necessary to run away to his base like a little pansy. All 3 of us attempting to shoot this guy down were nuked by AAA in less than 10 seconds total. Tell me how this is not broken. I'm fairly certain that WW2 era AAA also didn't have the capability to track and fire accurately against targets moving at around 350 mph at barely tree top height. This seriously needs fixed. There is no other way to look at it.

Oh yeah, also, if you're the last person on your team, just freaking die instead of needlessly drawing out matches.

Another fail argument.

Several times I've been the last guy left up against 3 or more aircraft. What, I'm supposed to suicide for you to make your life easier?

Umm...how 'bout NO!

I'll drag you out as long as I can. I'll fight you to the end with everything I can, including my AAA.

If you think for one moment I'm going to make your life easier, you're playing the wrong game.

OK, you completely ignored what I said then. Also, no one actually fights back over their airfield, they go there, land, and let the ridiculously overpowered, broken airfield AAA do all the fighting. Never said you shouldn't try to fight back, just was saying you shouldn't abuse a broken mechanic. BASE (ONLY BASE) AAA is broken. It should not shoot down 3 fast moving, manuevering planes in less than 10 seconds. Look at all the normal AAA spread around ground targets on most maps. They don't have laser like accuracy. They don't shoot down planes that often. The AAA around airfields should function exactly the same as every other AAA piece in game.
Because anti base rape feature

You do like to see the guy going headon on you while your engine is starting up get killed before straffing you?

Well meet the exploiters in a nutshell, something i do when i am in my Me 262 narwhale while having a half team of F-80C chasing me

If the guy know he's only annoying all either he kill hismelf, try to exploit airfield AA to kill enemies, write "U mad bro?" in the chat or like me use it as safe turn zone before going full yolo headon vs the entire rest of the enemy team
No I will not die when I am the last in a match

I will use that time to milk every last RP point
I win lots of matches as the last man standing.
How?
I am patient, I know the opposing team is impatient.
I want to win, no matter how long it will take.
I don't mind how.
Not going to suicide to make your life easier.

This aside, what do you want? Gaijin to nerf AAA so spawncamping is viable again?
I reckon we will find a thread posted by you that Gaijin should buff AAA again because your spawn airspace got camped and AAA is useless.
Gaijin should fix GF spawns now, AAA is perfectly fine.

I think base AAA should be nerfed, too. Like you say, it is to strong and makes gamer angry (like me -.-). But i think gajin won't fix the anti air because the say:" back in the day, AAA was stong so it is here in this game."
It's true that it was strong but war thunder is still a game. Games should make fun, but right now with this overpowered AAA it is just frustrating. (my opinion)

You'd make more RP from just dying and playing another match, you realize that, right? You know how much RP you get from one of your base AAA shooting an enemy down? 0.

In-game, AAA is way more accurate than it ever was in real life. In real life, AAA batteries fired hundreds, if not thousands of rounds per plane shot down yet in War Thunder, we're lucky to survive the first 5 rounds.

It's even more apparent with jets... -_-

That's not entirely true. In the case of those firing at high altitude targets from larger caliber flak guns? Yes, they had to fill the sky. Realistically speaking, someone trying to fly over an airfield in a predictable pattern at a low speed would get utterly screwed, even by something like a bofors AA or other mid caliber AA gun that fired from a magazine or belt. God forbid they be stupid enough to do it when there are highvelocity emplacements like a quad .50 present. This assumes the base gunners are aware and on station before the opponent flies over, of course.

I don't remember ever getting sniped by base AA in RB, let alone AB. I can see possibly having some issue in SB, but even then, so long as you aren't flying a straight line the AA isn't going to have an easy time of it.
The people getting nailed by base AA (that aren't getting sniped in level bombers) are usually getting hit because they are coming in with low energy and a pretty much straight flight path. Instead of maintaining energy advantage and looping around their target (which makes you harder to hit, and gives you better shots at your target as well), they are just sitting on their target's ass and flying straight.
The AI AA does not instantly react to player movement, there is a bit of a delay, so you shouldn't be getting hit while doing manuvers. If you are, than odds are you are flying too low and slow in the first place.
It's called continuously pointed fire.

It was how Flak 88s can shoot at planes 27.000 feet above sea level at 300 mph.
AAA killing you? Stop base raping then, noob. Or, alternatively, evasive manuevers. Either way, your fault.

WT is not THAT accurate with AI AAA, but watch the video and try to follow some of its advice on evading AAA. Still a fun video to watch either way :special:

Right so there supposed to make life easier for you by slowing down so you can catch up and shoot them down............yeah how bout no.

As for the AA guns even WW2 era weapons could be deadly accurate, especailly considering that you were probably flying pretty low. Even small arms under the right circumstances can knock out a prop plane.
