Which laptops are you guys using to play WT?
I have a fully built gaming rig at home, but this semester inbetween classes I'll have a 4-5 hour block of time before my last class begins.

I'm looking for a reasonably priced laptop that I can do all my work on while I'm waiting for class to start, but also something that allows me to play WT if I ever need to scratch that itch. I don't think I need a full fledge gaming laptop for WT, especially one that exceeds $1,000.

What kinds of laptops are you guys playing on with good-great success as far as frames per second and good visuals? No need to post anything if you've got a laptop over a thousand bucks- as I'm not looking to spend that much. I'm looking for reliability, performance, and price.

Thanks in advance. If you guys want to write a little pro's/con's snippet about your laptops that would be great as well. It would help me out a lot.

Acer Aspire V3-772G with Intel Core i7-4702MQ 2.2GHz with Turbo up to 3.2GHz,NVIDIA Geforce GT 750M,32GB ram,1TB memory, full HD 1080,1920x1080,it runs WT on high with 50/60+ fps easily in both game modes.
Gigabyte p35v3 with 3k screen and GTX980.
Thanks everyone for their input. I ended up ordering a Dell Inspiron i7559-2512BLK 15.6 Inch FHD Laptop (6th Generation Intel Core i7, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD + 8 GB SSD) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M. It was around 850 bucks on the Dell website, and I got 4 years of protection and service for it, so it was a little over a grand in total. Not exactly what I was expecting to pay- but having a more than capable laptop for at least 4 years trouble free is more than enough piece of mind for me.

Yup a good laptop should last 4 years. Since you got an Intel CPU you can also then turbo boost it later on to get more performance.

Alienware is good but they have started becoming more of a cash grab and giving underpowered laptops for more money :/
Hey guys. I'm loving my laptop this far, however I'm worried it might be getting a little too warm durring gameplay. I was hoping the laptop expert's would be able to chime in and let me know.

i7-6700HQ @ 2.6
GTX960M
16 Gigs of RAM

The GPU will reach as high as 75*C, but hangs around 65-70 mostly
The CPU's will get to 65*C

What exactly would I be looking for in terms of either of them being too hot?

That can be fairly normal for a laptop. They don't stay cool very well. Though most laptop components are made to be able to resist more heat so over heating won't damage the parts as much. Also those Temps are normally what I will end up getting.
