AIMBOT and those that can't hack the real thing

I've seen several posts referencing an "Aim Assist" used in War Thunder. I have seen some incredibly accurate shots from 'players' that spanned a great length of the battlefield. I have had my HVY tank taken out by a light tank with a frontal shot from over 500m and my front armor is 100mm thick. I agree that Gaijan won't listen or even do anything about the issue when it would be easy to insert a 'search and destroy' protocol which could activate on any runnng account and scan the users interface for a change in the script which calls for aiming. This isn't an impossibility. Gaijan just doesn't care about integrity. If you are one of those that feel you need to use an 'Aim Assist' tool like AIMBOT then maybe you should go back to the sandbox and play with your bucket and shovel because you obviously don't have the integrity or moral fiber to compete against those of us that choose to persevere and use skill to win .... or lose trying.

There is like, this one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ overlay thing that does nothing so yeah gaijin ignores it because it isn't even worth patching out, and a lot of keyloggers that claim to aimbots or hacks.

To those people looking for a real answer:
The game has a ton of bugs, mechanical problems, and imbalances- but it doesn't have any hackers at this time, due to the nature of literally -everything- being server side; and how leading and the aiming systems were designed.

I am only going to say this once as usual and move on, I am not going to waste time arguing with the inveitble people insisting otherwise falsely that always come. This is jsut here for people that actually want to know if the claims are legit or not.

Your heavy tank can be taken out with a light tank easily. What tank where you driving? I know several light tanks that have over 200mm+ of penetration.

Well regardless of weather theyre hacking or not I still beat them into the ground : )

Yea most of those websites just steal your info. They don't do jack shiz for your aim.

I did once see an actual real aimbot, this guy was showing a replay in sim battles where a 72k gaz truck had locked onto him and was prepared to fire as this guy moved out from behind a mountain.

And regardless of your opinion, aimbot is possible. What happens is your computer is constantly being sent information on the location of all players. All the aimbot does is:
A) Allow you to see enemies when not spotted
B) Allow you to target enemies regardless of where you are
It's basically showing the enemies you can't see.

Other types of hacks are impossible however, due to the server side way of things. Speedhacks aren't possible, because you go too fast and the server corrects it, or having godmode/godshells, not possible as once again, the server corrects it and prevents you from doing something you can't.

Sure, we have all seen the many videos proclaiming otherwise, but think for a minute. How hard is it to take a replay of a good match in war thunder, then edit the video to add in your own 'aim assist markers' and hey presto, you have a video showing a supposed aimbot.

The only intent the makers of these types of videos is to gain access to your account and to insert malicious software onto your machine in order to A) Use your machine for their own purposes and/or B) gain access to your sensitive information.

I have seen and reviewed hundreds of "Hackers" and have yet to find a single confirmed case where someone has actually used any kind of third party application.

KV-1 ZIS-5, front hull 100mm taken out by M3 Stuart and the best shell is only 78mm at point blank. Shell should've bounced off but had full penetration and blew the crap out of everything in the tank. I hate the cut scenes. There will always be cheaters in the world. Sucks but all I can do is motor on .... honestly.

I've seen it in practice and not a replay but live. I condemned my friend for using it. It woke me up to the shots perpetrated on me from seemingly across the battlefield. You can barely make out a silhouette to hit. Nobody is that good without computer ass-istance.

Yes, it is out there and it is being used by the dishonest low-lifes who want to feel superior. The thrill of the game is in winning but winning honest is a sweeter taste.

Bottom line, I'll keep playing the game ... honestly. I'll take my lumps for bad decisions during the battle that gets me blown up. It's a game. I'll even keep cursing the kamikaze airforce. They suck! Also, don't get pissed off at me if during the opening placement if I appear to be driving through you. I'm not. We know that units are populated sporadically. I will stop and backup and try to go around the invisible unit. Don't try to ram me or try shooting at me. Go to the SIM side for that. At least there you will have to pay for the repairs.

The only "aimbot" in this game is the overlay which tells you where everyone is but in reality that doesn't help skill with that tank since seeing a where they are doesn't mean you know where to shoot or how much bullet drop the round you have selected will have... I have never once encountered a hacker in this game because it's all handles server side so the client side of things doesn't have to be stressed as much. Also someone said they had 100m front armor and was penned by a 78m penetrating round. Well A. You never said it penetrated dead center of your 100m hull and it almost certainly hit a weaker part of your armor. In my German tanks I have strong front armor in the TDs but get penned in the corner which can take our crewmembers and other modules.
