Bailing out

Does bailing out of your plane do anything besides jumping out of a plane? Do you get something like exta points?

Well, if no one has landed a shot on you, you're able to eject without giving anyone a kill. Or, you can use the bail button to get your Piolt home safely.

It dosen't really do much other then speed up the time it takes to get into a new plane/tank. It does have one good thing though when it comes to team members shooting at you. If you have someone being a jerk trying to team kill you, you can always bail so they get stuck with the team kill penalty.

It isn't bad sport man ship... Since no one has hit him yet. Also it's only annoying when people hide at airfields for fighters to hunt them down and just J out :/

He's just complaining because he couldn't shoot straight enough to land his shots lol.
Sorry but get better at aiming or try to dive on planes more often then naught because then when they J out, you get the kill still :)

Did some research, as of a year ago it doesnt change anything.
However a more recent patch might have changed it.

well i will do what ever i want because i know that as soon as i am spotted in my lancaster i am death anyway, it only takes less time for me to get into a new match if i bail out.

If you bail out your pilot gets considerably more XP ( after being destroyed) . Also if you land without breaking your plane apart your repair cost is alot lower

Yes, but if you bail out like a ♥♥♥♥ so the enemy doesnt get the kill your crew doesnt get XP and goes to the gulag.
