Please give me an actual answer instead of a joke.
Once you get on someones tail, they're dead. That's it. There's really no getting out of it unless you get lucky.
That's why it's called ARCADE. There's nothing remotely realistic about it.
-Out turn them, if you are in a plane with superior turning you can turn and they have to either run away at that point, or turn fight you and that will get you a kill most likely.
-Run, if you are in a much faster plane, you can dive or try and gain as much speed as you can and increased the distance between you and your pursuer; this gives them a brief opening however.
-Use any aurbrakes, kill engine, kill as much speed suddenly as you can and let them overshoot you; you may even get lucky and be able to get a shot off. This method any plane can do for the most part, but it will leave you VERY vulnerable afterwards.
During all of that you can shake your mouse, this will trick anyone that relies too heavily on the lead indicator.
At the end of the day arcade though involves a lot of clustered attacks, usually what kills you is when 4 people all decide to shoot at you at once; which there is not really any counter to except luck.
The best option is to avoid getting tailed to begin with, but there are numerous more complicated guides on that you can look into.
