Custom decals?

Yes. Make any decal you want, put it on your skin in the users folder. Done.

you can open it with infaview , i tried changing the colors just by flipping them it did not take effect in game

Not really. I just use Photoshop, open the user skin, put decals or colors wherever I want, save it and it's done.

Hm, i put the file in userskins but it didnt show up anywhere in the decal menu (yes i restarted war thunder)

You don't have to restart War Thunder, but you do have to refresh the folder in the customization screen. (Restarting it does that too, so don't worry about it now.)

What plane is it you're trying to do this with? If it's a relatively common plane I might have, you can upload the logo, tell me where you want it and I'll do it for you.

Oh i see what you mean now. You have to edit the logo on the tank/plane with photoshop

Here's what you have to do:

Pick the plane/tank you want.

Click the CUSTOMIZATION word. That takes you to the Customization screen.

On the left, you'll see USER SKIN. Out to the right of that is a swirl button and a magic wand button. Click the magic wand button.

That will create a folder for that vehicle in the USER SKINS folder in War Thunder.

Inside that folder you will see the images for that given Tank/Plane. You have to open that up in some kind of picture editor and put the logo on that file and save it.

That will put the logo on your tank/plane.

FAIR WARNING: tanks simply have a blank sheet of color that covers the tank, so it's hit and miss to get a logo placed properly. It can take you several attempts to get it right.

I want to know how to download custom decals for war thunder like i did with the russian badger. I got a decal in game that anyone can see, I dont want one that is only visable to me
