Tech tree issues.

On my German aviation tech tree, I haven't researched anything on the left hand side, but I am able to start researching Rank 3 planes on the left hand side.

But on my British aviation tech tree, I am having to grind every vehicle.

I understand your perplexity. Trying to figure out how to reach a certain vehicle in some tech tree is a puzzle game in itself and often it leads to weird results.

Isn't the requirement that you research X number of planes in the current rank before you can research the next rank? The German tree has more vehicles of the type that you enjoy, so you've met that research requirement simply by playing. However, the British tree has fewer vehicles that you want to play so you haven't met the requirement by grinding only the vehicles you want to play... It's a pretty simple mechanic and not some conspiracy.

I assume you didn't look at the screenshots, because you can clearly see I am in rank V on the British, but I can not research the 3rd or 5th tree because I haven't researched the previous vehicles.

But in the German tree, I can just magically jump to Rank 3 in the 1st tree without researching anything prior.

I know you need 6/6(in most cases) to progress to the next rank.

Who knows when you researched vehicles, whether new vehicles were added, or if research requirements were changed. Just grind more and stop complaining :b.

Ugh, since when did I say it was a conspiracy against me?

I am asking why it is like that for the British tree, but in some other tech tree's you can skip half the grind.

If that's putting a tin foil hat on and thinking that Gaijin is against me, solely me and no one else, then ♥♥♥♥ it I quit life.

Edit: Lol, you talk to me about conspiracies, but then in a previous thread 2 days ago you're talking about conspiracies within the game about favourable matchmaking. Mhmm, interesting.

No need to get defensive. If you spent as much time thinking about the issue you're facing as you have looking through my post history you'd have a much better understanding of the game's mechanics and there would be no need for your post.

It's like that for germany because the line is cut off and that's why you can research tier 3 planes on the left, it's a good thing in a way because you can skip most tier 2 and 1 planes and get tier 3 planes faster, the bomber line on the right side is red because its a continuous line and you need to research them one by one to unlock them all

German bias doesn't exist.

Because of this, we have a reason to put the tiger at 4.3, exactly where it should be.
Tiger armor can't be penned, it has been tested

You're using your Tiger wrong if you want it at 4.3. By that logic, the T-34-85 should be 4.3 as well, as it is even weaker than the Tiger H1.

No, the T-34-85 is good, unlike the tiger.

To be fair HSF never said that it was some conspiracy against him, but pointed out that there is no logical or historical reason for these differences between the various national tech trees.

There are lines that are freely researchable while others are not and require all the previous vehicles also in the USA, Russia and Japan trees.

It's not the end of the world, but just another small incongruency that can be annoying if you need urgently a certain vehicle, as it happens with some tasks.
