Nerf T-72/ Turms, etc. antireality

I would really like to know why the T-72 is so strong in this game, it can withstand direct shots at the wix spot, from the side and of course the T-72 has no problem destroying everything. But the reality was exactly the opposite. Just look at the Gulf War. The hidden, camped elite Iraqi T-72 unit received a total debacle from the Abrams, where the T-72s flew to the moon after the first strike and did not destroy a single Abrams, and they were in a defensive position. Can someone explain to me why nonsense persists and destroys everything in this game?

Videogames mean ♥♥♥♥ all when it comes to reality, because in reality, you are not going to have Abrams and Leopard 2's facing Type 10's and Challenger 2's in the fields of Normandy.

Just aim better, T72's are at a br range where everything can both one shot and be one shotted, I really don't get why people get surprised when you one shot someone, but you are one shotted as well

do what everyone else does just leak a classified document on the tank. but in all seriousness having grinded both american and Russian i can say that both sides have pros and cons but by no means is the t72 strong. the amount of times ive got one shotted is crazy. also it depends on the angles and spots you shoot. and if anything needs nerfed its the click bait p2w premium 11.3 tonk

T-72s arent OP or anything, especially TURMS-T is weak af in terms of armor and mobility, only pros are decent gun and commanders thermal

also why are we comparing all out real life warfare to war thunder ?

you have t 72 tanks destroy leos in ukraine, does that mean t 72 is better?

the only thing which matters the most in tank vs tank combat irl is who spots who first. this literally hasnt changed much since ww2 (shermans ambushing panther/tigers multiple times and winning).

The thing is, those players are simply playing what's advertised, someone who comes to the game completely new due to the past 2 or 3 years trailers doesn't know the game has WWII stuff in it

Like seriously, people say "just hit the weakspot". Okay, I hit it, my shot went through the ammo or destroyed a couple pieces of it with no negative effect on the tank, now what? I didn't pray to Mikhail Koshkin enough?

Chinese MBTs have the same armor layout and autoloader and somehow their ammo cooks off as easy as NATO's, it's just USSR's propellant covered in the endless supply of Stalin's ashes, I guess.

i have it as a grind tank and don't own any other top tiers besides squadrons and i have to say, it really isn't that good, fundamentally even. horrible depression and mobility, you feel that this is an outdated tank but upgraded, the supposed survivability doesn't help either because if you don't die in one hit, you'll most likely be crippled and die in the second unless you have severe skill issue and can't aim. some high tier players seem to be a different breed of stupid and i'm not even talking about level 1 top tier premium players

Which, according to real testing, has basically zero effect on preventing the tank from turning into a firepit on a direct hit, but I guess if the totally unbiased designer docs say it has a near 100% efficiency, that's all Gaijin has.

Don't expect historical realism in this game. It's not there. Russian tanks in game are modelled to consistently outperform their opponemts. All the way through the techtree.

Regarding T-72, Poland was producing them for themselves. Even highly modernised version with weatern optics and electronics. They switched to Leo, Abrams and K2, as soon as there was a possibility. I haven't seen anybody claiming to go back and I read quite a lot about the topic.
