AGM 65B lock range
Does anyone know what the lock range is for the AGM's on the A-10A? I can't lock a moving target unless I'm around 7km away and I don't know why. I can lock the missile and fire it from any distance but it won't track the target I "locked" unless the targeting pod has a solid lock and tracking the target by itself before I launch the missile. Maybe I'm just dumb and am missing something but for the life of me I don't know what it is.

You can launch it from farther away, but its sensor needs to be relatively close to the target in order to track and kill on its own.

The stat card lies, the lock range and launch range are both ESTIMATES and HIGH ones at that. Theres a spreadsheet floating around that tells you the TRUE ranges of all AGMs in the game somewhere.

Got it, after reading that I went and looked and the tech tree A-10 and saw that it has the AGM 65D. Didn't realize they had different missiles.

As a note to that, if your target doesn't move much by the time the missile closes to ~6km, they seem to swap from point track to target tracking mode.
