Thoughts on the IL-28 and its variant: the IL-28Sh

As a person who was and kind of is still new to jet bombers, I did not have a great experience with the Tu-14. The IL-28Sh in particular though is a lot of fun if the circumstances are just right. The weapons you can mount make it a pretty versatile aircraft. Those are just my thoughts though, and I would like to know what some other peoples thoughts are.

Haven't done the Sh, but the IL-28 is a good one. The big bomb is always nice. And the tail gun in a jet bomber catches a lot of enemies off guard.

IL-28Sh has S-24 rockets which are very good but IL-28Sh can't use them well because it has no airbrake and is heavy.

I find that loading the gun pods along with 10 250 bombs turns the IL-28Sh into a kind of heavy fighter/interceptor/bomber. And when I say heavy, I mean do head-ons because you are likely not turning with any fighters. I either do that or drop in on a plane that is distracted and then just delete them. And besides, with 6 23mm cannons, you can decimate any plane in your gunsight. In the interceptor role, B-29s, H-5s(and the german and Hungarian IL-28s for that matter), and B-57s are the things I look for. Once I line up, just fire a short burst and watch the bomber fall apart. And in the bomber role, the 10 250s are enough to take out one base.
