The only downside is the 3 spawn limit, I wish they just make the spawn point system in arcade as well
True dat about spawn limit.
Yeah, its plain and simply fun.
What I noticed over the years was that RB players (at some point) started to demonise Arcade and started to bully arcade players for :" Not being skilled enough " or " Realistic is the real deal, its where the PRos at ".
Bottom line is, we are all here to have FUN, we don't get paid for playing this game and we do so in our spare time.
In my eyes, there is no superior mode, it all comes down to what an individual enjoys and an AB player is by no means less skilled than a RB player. Modes are just simply different and also played very differently. In fact, in AB you can't play the " hide and seek " nonsense so much, its all about reacting fast, getting your aim in and destroying while focusing on the objective.
Each mode has its charm.
For me personally, its just arcade where the fun is at and when I have more patience and more time on my hands, looking for a slower more matriculate playstyle, I go into RB.
Now that being said, for me there is no valid reason to play air RB really. Even at a high top tier air Arcade seems to be more hands on and drops you right into the action.
I feel the same way, sadly it always takes so long to find a match in AB for higher BRs.... As at some point RB players injected the (scroll up) rumorus into this community.
Its the same old argument as between simulator players who play games such as DCS and WT players. For me there is no " real deal ". At the end of the day, these are all games, more realistic or not... If I want realism, I sign up with the tank division or become a fighter pilot in real life and people who think that " Realism " is superior in a video game, are a little bit delusional about what the GAME they are consuming is designed for.
RP, that's the main reason. For both Air and Ground Arcade RP rewards just suck.
For Air AB vs RB specifically I don't find dogfights as enjoyable in AB.
Ground AB is fun though, except for the randomized CAS.
They should put the RP on the same level in my opinion.
But RP, sure ? Because I can play more AB matches and get more kills than in RB, so at the end I end up with more RP and most importantly, more fun.
Other than that low tier AB feels gross because it's like walking on infants.
I can easily flank in AB.
Skill issue.
You wrote on the thread I opened and my statement is an obvious pointer about that you are wrong.
You CAN flank in arcade and you are not automatically marked, unless you are seen. same for RB.
It just isn’t playable for me.
I mean, thats why its called arcade...
Checking early game to see if any lights have points in increments of five to know if they scouted someone, know when or if a plane is up, knowing sight lines and so forth.
It might be harder to do it in arcade than realistic, but it's still pretty easy.
You still can immobilize heavies and then kill shot it. Happens all the time. You just need to adjust and know turret traverse speeds and reloads of the tank you're facing.
