Nuke Sirens are glitched

Just had a match where the last enemy was able to hop into a nuke plane and neither me in a jet nor my numerous friendlies on the ground ever heard the siren go off. i hear a jet sound and then boom, nuke goes off....

The nuke siren does not work on certain maps and will also bug or even time out and can be affected by server lag, it is best to keep an eye on the score board and check to see if anyone is near a nuke, otherwise you can get blind sided by the "sun".

I've even had matches where the nuke siren kept screaming at us for almost five minutes after the Jet had been shot down, I think it is really more of an afterthought for the sound team at this point.

interesting, thanks for letting me know. I was keeping track and i had always thought you had to have at least 3500 score on the leaderboard to obtain a nuke (i thought that matched up with the 2500sp) but the guy had only 3300 or something close.

It depends on how much SP the enemy player spent on their vehicle(s), for example an SPAA like the Tunguska would need less SP to jump into a nuke jet than a T32 heavy tank and playing in up and down tiers will also make the SP amount you need on the scoreboard change. Rule of thumb is to look out for anyone at 3k SP or higher and 1-0 deaths.
