Why do people say sweden is "op" just because of sabot?

You can either not use sabot and be forced to flank if you don't want to bounce all the 6.0 German tanks with your 5.0 tank, and then may as well play US.
Or you do sabot, you can only 1 shot by hitting ammo, which means you have to flank them anyway, sabot does barely any damage and most ammo racks are in the middle of the tank where you won't be able to explode from the front with sabot.
Why do I still see people say Sweden is "op" just because of sabot?

I'm assuming many people complain because, largely, it isn't fun to deal with a vehicle that can penetrate you regardless of what you do in most tanks.

Same reason people don't like HEAT-FS slingers, they don't want to be completely invincible, but also don't want all of their armor to be completely invalidated at all ranges.

Sweden is definitely OP, my experience fighting them felt consistently unbalanced more so than any other nation (Tank battles). Even fighting Germany at mid tier I find more reasonable than coming across any Swedish vehicle. I don't have experience beyond BR 8.7 but all the way from 1.0 up to 8.7 and 9.7 in up tiers has been really annoying to say the least. They always seem to easily Pen you and kill you in 1 shot regardless what vehicle you in, what direction or distance its from and if you angled or not, like wtf? and when you shoot them they hardly ever die in 1 hit themselves regardless where you aim or what ammo you use. I'm sure people will say "Skill Issue" lol, but it is what it is, when its consistently just 1 nation's vehicles that you have the most problem with there is definitely something to it, and I had many people agree with me on this.

Most recent example was in Ground RB 8.7 few days ago, "ItPsv Leopard" SPAA managed to flank our entire team, and in just 30seconds clapped 10 vehicles while moving and before even having the need to reload. The 10 vehicles were not all light tanks either, some had good armor, but apparently its not an issue for SWEDISH SPAA

Because some YTer they watch said so and they just parrot it. Sweden has basically nothing going for it besides good pen, most tanks are made out of paper (even the 103 everyone loves so much is an easy kill at its BR and especially in an uptier) and have horrible mobility.

Only good tanks they have are exports/lend lease found in other nations.

The only good sweden tanks are finnish panzer IV, finnish t-34, swedish sherman and SAV with 120mm cannon with auto loader. rest is lucklaster

Got nothing to say about balance, but I know some people that give Sweden flak for having Cold War tanks early on in their tech tree. They get annoyed when they're looking for casual low tier WW2 gameplay and get lit up by speedy full auto armored vehicles (Sweden being the common outlier).

Just look how no one bats an eye if Germany gets another Leopard 2, but the moment one goes to Sweden is "overperforming"

A T-Whatever is not a problem except for people who doesn't know how to aim, and a lot were losing their ♥♥♥♥ when a T-90 went to UK

F-16/14 or Mig29's were not a problem despite being better than anything else they had to face, and suddenly, for some reason, the Gripen were a problem.

The list just goes on and on and on and on

Just wait for the F-18 being better than most stuff, and everyone playing US being perfectly fine with it, but when the finnish one gets added to Sweden tree it will suddently be a problem as well

Im not at high tier sweden but all i can say is this. Amazing ammo, most top tier tanks with spall liners, best optics (besides udssr), nice gun depression.

idk about at 5.0, but the sabot is kinda hilariously strong on the reserve tanks... then they also get like a mini KV2 lol... but then they get the same 37MM cannon until like 3.0 or something and it sucks at that point.

britain gets sabot at like 5.0(or was it 6.0?) too, so at that point it's not exclusive to them and HEATFS that russia gets access to at 5.0 is arguably better.

Because it is cancer to fight against tanks made in 50s and 60s w modern heat/sabot ammunition when you have tanks made in late 30s. Since they are glass cannons it wouldnt matter if these tanks were at a higher br. Your sluggish heavy suffers for no reason other than swedish tank industry being a joke.
