The 6.0 panthers if they still 6.0 was kinda painful to play too since it was almost always 7.0 uptier.

what are you going on about, things have changed, you have no idea they have and you come out with some long story about how things used to be and yesterdays games.

Things changed? dude air battles still the exact same, the map rotation still the same trash, the tanks it self havent changed and you speak of a 0.3 br diference like f it was a world diference wtf is even wrong with you? you don't know about things changing, says you are not up to date with the game, as those 2 moving to 5.3 makes one hell of a difference, which you try to play down.

I'm guessing even with a 0.3 advantage you can't make that work for you and it isn't the fact that they have drop, it means in a 5.7 game, 4 5.7 and the rest can be made up of tigers/panthers facing the same number of usa 4.7.
but if you don't understand how the mm works, ok, never mind, a 0.3 dif won't help you.

yeah the problem comes when most enemies are ru 251 and all "mobile" tanks are pretty much pointless since those are way faster, you literally can reach 3/4 of the map before a m18 is able to get to half map both starting at the same time.
Weird you didnt mention t92, is it because its uptiered more than the ones you mention?

My stats in the T92 (a 6.7 br light tank) are pretty terrible. But that might be because it harks way back to when I was worse at the game and bought a T29 premium to help me rush up the tiers as USA. I still seem to die easily in it now, though, as it inflicts very small post-pen damage. If I played the T92 more, I think I would have to focus hard on trying to direct-hit enemy ammo. The T34 seems to be the best 6.7 usa tank, for me, and it can seriously bully the enemy - but it has a high repair cost.

I agree with the post above about the Jagdpanther being good.

The easy lineup right now is Germany 5.3 for sure. Tiger + Panther + Nashorn + PzIV tank destroyer thing + Wirblewind + Airplane.

Try the IS2? Soviet tree. I've just got it today, and if you play it like a Panther and stay safe, you have around 200mm of pen usually. I one shotted a Panther (dunno what letter) frontally from about 600m after bouncing his shell. That one made me feel good. 20~ second reload though. You can't brawl (well) or push (very quickly), but you're one scary mother. Anyone at close range messes with you and you get the first shot off, they're pretty much toast.

It will be hard to know, since it depends on what you expect and how you take fun.

I enjoy playing M10 (3.7) and AMX-13 FL11 (3.3), and play them easily up to BR 5.7 at least, so I've put a 4.7 tank in my lineup, and since I'm constantly uptiered, it allows me to fight 5.3~5.7 tanks everytime, which rewards me with even more SL.

I also enjoy playing AMX-30 *, AMX-32, AMX-13 * and AMX-10 RC, (since I have no choice, always uptiered). But I mostly play them from distance, since the gameplay I prefer is long distance snipping, flanking when no other choice, and scouting (which can also lead to some interesting brawlings), I'm not sure you would like.

Sometimes, I take fun using my BT-5 (reserve tank) and force an uptier to 5.3~5.7, so I can destroy really higher tanks, not only for the pleasure of taking them out, but also to get the "God mode" achievement (destroying a tank 5+BR above, gives +20000 SL base).

No depression is a no go for me, died tons of time in things like is-3 or is-6 because these russian tanks dont have depression at all.

Let me give you an example, you go out with a tiger 2 and you get uptiered, that means youre just a slow box that wont have a chance toi bounce anything at that br on top of pretty much everything is faster so thats not enjoyable meanwhile going with a pz4 is pretty enjoyable because even uptired the armor is not its strenght yet there are tanks like t28 wich are nice at their br but then you see how even heat shoot hitting at impossible angles on the sides for some reasson pen so thats not enjoyable, one time I had a shoot coming from my front, it hit the side of the tank and it went boom, later on tried it like 200 times with the testing shoot and there was no way that could pen yet it happened.

Anything German or the premium T28 or T114. That thing sits at 6.3 and is literally invincible to everything except recoilless rifles and early HEATFS. Meanwhile the T114 is 6.7, superior to every other recoilless rifle tank in the game in every way.

su 85m is hella fun to play cuz it can bounce almost everything except the panther and other german tanks that uses the same cannon

and yea best doesnt mean its op, its just a tank that doesnt require that much skill and thinking like just angle it right and your all set

If you get a direct shoot at the middle of the mantlet lets say 0-300m you will pen it and most likely kill it, you can also pen the sides of the turret if he is trying to angle the turret, depending on angle you can also pen the transmission wich if you shoot a bit under the part where both upper and lower plate connect the shell will go straight into the tank and kill it or leave it useless.
Tiger is even easier to kill if you know the spots on the turret, cupola and the front is not angled so not very hard to pen it.

I tough about the isu 152 for the lols but I see it like a worse sturer emil/ dicker max i mean with the ones i mention i can show up on a really angled hill without exposing the entire tank meanwhile with a isu since no depression because russia well you need to show the enemy pretty much the entire tank.

I guess same history goes for su85.
