How many Gamemodes does War Thunder has?
12?
15?
And you still get very fast into Matches.
Arcade, Realism, Simulator, PvE Mode -4
Aircraft
Arcade, Realism, Simulator, PvE Mode -4
Water
Deep Blue Sea, Shallow Sea -2
Eventmode -1
World War Mode -1
Custom Servers -1
Singleplayer Campaign -1
4 + 4 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 14
Players are split trough these 14 Modes.
The Question was how many Mode there are.
I listed them.
Having the option for small Lobby Sizes, just like we have for Night Battles wouldnt make that much of a difference. That was the Point.
The point is in the fact that Night Battles, now that they are optional, are as dead if not more than Naval to the point that when you do finally get one it's usually a 6v6. Considering it's an option that most people won't even realize exists rather than part of the default search, same thing would happen to small ARB matches. Making it a separate option is just pointless.
In any other game you *select* what you want to do. Like I want to play "Domination 4v4", click that. I want to play "Team Deathmatch 16 v 16", I click that.
Gaijin want you to vaguely "opt in" to modes you'd like to play but with no way to "opt out" of anything. I'd sure like to play "Domination mode" so I check that box. Too bad there's now 15 different modes selected and i'll have to play for days before randomly getting the small Domination map that I want.
It's just so weird. It's like Gaijin views selecting a mode as some big privilege they only begrudgingly allow.
Oh you want to play night matches in your tank? Click this slot machine checkbox and you'll have a 1/50 chance of getting a night map. What? Are you not grateful??
Like some evil genie ♥♥♥♥, "oh hoho you said you wanted small matches! but you didn't say you wanted to be able to just play them whenever!"
As for example Night Battles, or certain Maps?
Whats the Point of forcing People to do things they dont like?
If the Majority doesnt like Night Battles? Dont force them.
If the Majority doesnt like big Matches, dont force them.
I honestly see no Problem with this Option being added.
An Option or a Button to choose what one likes more is never wrong.
More Options are always good.
