To be proper to the term, not really. It's not like those removed vehicles were sold under limited time, Gaijin just one day decided "lmao they're not real".

but didn't they returned it back after removing for some time? I have heard it from my friend who has played the game a long time

The 10.5 Tiger II isn't coming back.
They removed the maus for being too hard to balance, then they made it a yearly tank. But they can't do it for the 10.5cm panther or tiger because... 'reasons'.

To be fair, it is FOMO if you take into account that they announced[warthunder.com]the removal one month in advance.

Time for a history lesson, warthunder at its inception was never intended to include Cold War or modern vehicles, originally it operated on a cutoff date in the early 50s.

So after ww2 certain nations on the losing side like Germany had no arms industry to speak of, while the allied nations continued building tanks like the t54s Germany had produced absolutely nothing since their late war big cats

A decision was made at gaijin to simply make up upgrades to the existing vehicles to fill that gap, don’t be fooled by the names because the panther 2 is not even remotely what the actual panther 2 project even intended to produce, in fact its configuration as shown in game would have been physically impossible to build

Now as time went on and the original restrictions on date have been lifted gaijin took a look at these fictional vehicles and decided not only were they no longer necessary to fill a gap that no longer really exists, but they set a precedent for other fictional vehicles they do not want.

You can make all the arguments you want about paper and prototype tanks but the tiger 2 105 and panther 2 are complete fiction, and gaijin have no intention of bringing them back.

There are a handful of other vehicles left from this era like the Japanese r2y2s which would be on the chopping block too, the only reason they aren’t gone is there is still a gap in the Japanese tree they fill which no real vehicle Japan had can fill, if gaijin ever finds something to replace them they will be going too

The maus is a completely different case because it was always intended to come back, its removal from the tree because it was impossible to balance was not intended as a removal from the game if you go back and read the actual announcement, it just means it’s a ‘play at your own risk’ poorly balanced vehicle which is not something they want in the regular tree

Dont feel bad m8 I have it and would never use it. Its more of a sidegrade to the 8.8cm, sure it pens a little more and has more filler but its reload is over twice as long, and it has a slightly inferior turret armor layout, its also heavier making it less mobile. Its just not worth the downsides and with it being a higher BR there is just no reason to use it anymore. Back when it was 6.7 you could argue bringing it as a backup but at 7.0 its useless. Beyond that as ^ said its a madeup vehicle, the breach of the 10.5 could not fit into the turret even with the redesign, if you look in X ray you can see the gun breech on the 10.5 and to a much greater extent the Panther II is downsized significantly in a complete fictional magical way. Someday hopefully they redesign the Panther II to have a turret that would theoretically work or better yet just make the actual panther II with everything as is but a non fictional gun. As for the 10.5 its a deadend, they could maybe theoretically make a new turret based on ideas the designers had but its all just make believe at that point. Im all for prototype and blueprint vehicles that never got made or didnt see the light of day but I do want to avoid pure world of tanks made up ♥♥♥♥ for the most part. Both of these tanks are half made up half blueprint.

This just isn't true at all.

The reload, is longer yes, but a max of 12.5s vs 7.5s (not over twice as long at all)
It does weigh more, yes, but it has a higher Horsepower/ton than both the Tech Tree Tiger II and the Premium Tiger II.

It also has a rangefinder.

I play my 10.5 a ton, I love it. But to claim it's worse than the TT is ludicrous.

It's actually quite a bit more mobile than the standard Tiger II because its got the most powerful powerplant in a Tiger II ingame.

Yeah the engine on it is actually insane, can outpace every other tiger and tiger 2 in the game (once upgraded), even the reverse is crazy good.
