m247 v veak

vt rounds for veak rank 1 but m247 rank 4? 8.7 / 9.0?

Yeah I know, it's something I've been bothered by for a very long time. The M247's vt rounds are if I remember 14k rp unlike the lower required rp the veak has on a tier 2 mod. The only guess is 1. It's at 8.7 for some reason and 2. the rounds are tracerless which I honestly dont think it should make the M247 as it is compared to the VEAK.

But I have to take in account for radar, radar tracking but they're both so similar it makes sense if they both sit at 9.0

M247 is a bit tougher, and has the rounds in a long belt instead of in small clips, so it can continuously fire while the Veak has to take short breaks every few rounds

It's because M247 used to be good long time ago.

Then Gaijin realized this and nerfed it to the ground. Such as removing it's AP belts. Removed the AP bullet from VT belt. Removed ability to choose all the ammo belts yourself. Reduced it's penetration. Reduced it's proximity shell radius. etc.

It got absolutely gutted.

VEAK is a bit more versatile but more vunerable - puting either one higher or lower would be worse for overall balance I guess.

Ah man I remember the absolute killing power the thing had with MBT's. The older M247's SA-HE rounds had 38mm (cant remember) but the game calculated those numbers as just high explosives. So you'd be able to over pressure the T series tanks, leos and many more.
