Do night battles even exist?

I've never been to big on ground battles over air rb but have been getting into it more consistently recently. I noticed the button to enable night battles and i've had it on for like 6 months and probably a good 500 hours of doing ground in that time, and not once have iever had a night battle.

They did an update sometime ago and you gotta activate night battles in the options to be able to play them.

"In the gamemode selection window (under the “To Battle!” button), on GRB section, a button has been added that you can click on to go to the night battles"

Yeah this is what i have enabled, but i've still not had one. Is it more common at higher BR? I've been mostly playing between 6.0 and 7.3.

Night battles only appear at BR 10.0 or above.

it's 8.0+ only, or something around that BR. I wonder what the point of having night vision as a mod for 8.0- vechicles, if there is no use for it in lower ranks.

I guess there is simply no point. Much like plane backups in air rb despite it being the most played air mode.

It used to be that you could get night battles much earlier than 10.0 however it was completely busted because you would be thrown into them without having them researched or with some vehicles, no option at all. And it was DARK.... it was a terrible, terrible time with many just hiding in corners or not even spawning in. So...ergo, by 9.0 all vehicles have NV/thermals and you have to manually enable them.

Hi, as others have said, night battles are available at 10.0 BR and above if you have enabled night battles. After this, the chance of getting into a night battle depends on how many other players have this option selected and are on at the same time. Most of the time, it's quite a low possibility.

Night batle's in air would be nice too. Might get to be able to use the WW2 era radar for once.

They have been removing NVD's from vehicles.
