The newer Israeli F-16 also has AIM-9Ms, as does the Italian/Hungarian Gripen.
Then why not give other nations newer models to justify the use of superior missiles ?
Nations are seriously at a disadvantage at top tier due to this.
Because there are no nations with that disadvantage, see above, every nation has access to missiles with IRCCM on one jet or another (Japan has the F-15J, Israel has their F-16 (Barak II), Russia and China have the Su-27 (or domestic variant), Germany has the MiG-29G, France has the Super Mirage 4000, UK, Sweden, and Italy all have the Gripen) and not every nation used appropriate F-16s
I am aware of this, but being only limited to one top tier plane that is on par with U.S or original USSR counter parts, is just lame.
The Italian F16 for example, its basically useless.
