Randomly entered game and have 390 Gold eagles..

Free GE is free GE. If you're that concerned I'd ask support.

there have been cases in the past where people got eagles they didnt pay for, gaijin realised later but they had already spent it, so gaijin put them into negative balance

strange. ill hold them. idk. my thoughts were maybe a unit i bought (premium unit) was lowered in price after the fact and they gave me the balance. seems very unlike gaijin though

When Gaijin removes a modification on a vehicle that you have unlocked with SL or GE you will get refunded that sum, this might be the case here.
I think you can see what it was in the economics tab, it should say something like "money back for removed weapons and modification".

They changed some ATGM on helicopters recently. So you are refunded if you purchased the modules in the past. Check Economy tab in your profile in the hangar.

It's a ban-able offense to obtain free GE. Report it. It's in your best interest if you want to keep your account.
