I really don't see a problem here... bombing bases is the exact same loop through the whole game, if you've bombed one you've bombed them all.
Need to know how many of any specific bomb to use at any specific BR?
https://wiki.warthunder.com/Enduring_Confrontation
Here is a handy little page wherein there's an expandable table towards the bottom where you can check *MOST* bombs in the game and the required amount per base by BR.
The tutorial gives a good representation of the terrible gameplay for bomb planes. Apart from the getting ripped apart by swarms of fighters I guess.
Step 2. In the bottom left hand corner of the Test Flight menu, select Mission Editor
Step 3. Proceed to set mission settings to your heart's content
Step 4. Practice landing bombs on Destroyers (if you can hit a Destroyer with bombs from a strategic bomber, you can hit anything)
I've never tried doing that in test flight, but you can just hold your bomb button and follow the bomb to the target.
It does not tell you if you miss. If you don't get a hit message you missed.
Make sure you are using the "floating" aiming circle. The stationary one in the middle is your position over the land the floating one is where the bombs will land. Very rare to have them over lapping.
The difficult thing about bombers is surviving being intercepted, the bombing part is about the easiest thing you can do in warthunder
Don’t even remember doing a tutorial when I started, if it even existed back then I don’t remember, first I remember using a bomber was using a Catalina in an actual match
Take a bomber out and learn the ‘hard’ way mate, looking through a bomb sight and pressing space bar at the right time is about the easiest gameplay I can think of in warthunder. Can’t see why you would possibly need ‘practice’ after you know the controls, you lose nothing playing those early vehicles
Just wait until you try an actually advanced technique, doubt there are tutorials on toss bombing, skip bombing or even proper dive bomb procedures. You try, you fail, you keep trying. I actually advise sim as the best place for it because you have a 100 square km map with multiple airfields and respawning ground targets to practice on for a 3 hour match
I assure you pal, I've played enough of this game to know you don't need it to hold your hand as much as you want it too.
You're a big boy now, you can figure things out on your own.
Why do you need to get to 1800ft to test bombing? all you could need to do that for is flight performance tests, not for actually dropping bombs, however, I do agree it'd be nice to select starting alt.
While I totally agree it's ♥♥♥♥.
It's also that easy because it's very simple to understand when the X of the bomb sight is over target, drop bomb, very easy concept to understand, if you struggled with this that's an indictment on you not the game.
The tank test drive has tanks because the way a tank shell interacts with the target tanks varies wildly depending on the tank that fired the shell, the tank being hit by the shell and the shell itself... a bomb hitting a base either blows up the base... or damages the base over time... and then blows it up
Don’t have a bomb target? There are bases in rb to bomb so not sure what you mean, have you even played or are you still ‘practicing’ pressing spacebar…
