Spaded it and rarely use it now, I feel the BR is frankly too high for what it's going up against.

Its still a good tank provided you stay out of sight (most important) and flank with APDS. Hit the right spots such as ammo or the engine and you will usually start a fire or destroy it in 1 shot. But be warned, after the APDS (and HEATFS) spalling nerf, it is a LOT harder to use. Falnking a Soviet tank you need to aim for the lower hull, Germans you can shoot anywhere and same for the Brits. But again, it needs to use APDS or it is terrible. Keep it as just a back up to be honest though.

Used to be great with the discarded sabot, but now it's like the rest of the US tree. Trash.
Just drive the great line of Soviet (and True Korean) tanks. Most American tanks were trash when compared to contemporary British and Soviet armor until the 80s anyways.:IS2:

M41A1 is by far the best US tier 4 (second to the Super Hellcat that is) imho.
Using it in combination with it's quick speed and good gun (sabot rounds are great) you can easily out flank most any tank. Remember that you cannot take any hits though..

Cant reliably kill with one shot anymore since the APDS nerf and that usually gets you killed since you cant take any hits at all.

This. The first round you're counting on one of two things happening. One being a kill or Two being a disable. The walker bulldog can no longer do either of these reliably or with much certainty.

Not really, americans got the short stick in this game but that is not because they sucked, simply Gaijin bias towards USSR and how only this nation had effective tanks, armor and ammo.Atleast germans are meh right now.

Light tanks should still only fight when they have a brief opportunity or no other choice, generally they are better used capping points, spotting vehicles, baiting/distracting, and providing arty and other types of support.

That being said the buldog is really really good, and is a bit of an exception as with it's APDS it can actually do some real damage to targets it flanks.

No it's true American tank development tanked after WW2 and they didn't catch up until the ass. Hell even the L7 (Best NATO gun during cold war) which they used extensively was British. Just admit it. Despite America's obvious advantage in other areas they underperformed in tank development. That's not to say that their tanks were useless, but in a game like this where teamwork is sketchy at best the thicker Russian armor has a clear advantage. If you want to talk about the early tiers I would agree that there is a clear Russian bias in BR but for late war/Korean stuff I feel that it is fairly accurate. There simply were no US tanks in the games time frame of WW2-Korea that could go toe to toe with Soviet heavy armor or MBTs in a closed battle like in War Thunder where breakdowns and reliability do not come into play. Even in early tiers Russian armor advantage over US + US underperforming guns while on their own would not affect it how it does now, combined give the USSR a clear advantage in the setting of War Thunder where you can not out maneuver your opponent and have to face them head on.
