Rear camera view key

Newbie here just getting into the game and loving it playing mouse and keyboard , is there a setting for binding a key to a rear camera view with planes I cant seem to find it

im not aware of a straight "reverse camera" key, however the default key for the 360 degree free camera is C, just hold that key down and move the mouse to look around you.

Yeah thanks I use he C key to look around just thought they would have a rear view setting , maybe thats why I cant find one :)

You can bind it to any key you want, but make sure it is accessable. (or you have to move your entire hand)

Thanks but is there a rear view to bind it too , thats the setting I cant find .

I have 562 hrs in this game, have massively changed the default bindings, and yet never knew this existed.

from my experiance the key doesnt make you look directly behind the plane
it simply makes you look opposite the direction of travel in the horizontal plane.
so if youre flying level, its directly behind you. but if youre for example flying 45* downwards, youll be looking 45* downwards from the rear of the plane

Its a little weird it moves camera from front to rear by rotating around one side of the plane , not very useful I wanted it to go bam straight to rear view but it doesnt work that way .
