Fix the sun glare, genuinely... its been SO LONG

Why have so many evening and morning maps, us GAMERS are NOCTURNAL, but even so this is blinding during day and night.
Help us feed the snail and do some Quality of life changes once in a while and turn off the god rays of the sun, i have a better time looking at the sun irl.
It's always blinding sun or annoying fog, the sun is the real criminal tho as it is biased to one team as one team has a massive fat sun GLARING in there face.

No, no it didn't. my lens flare is off, this is not lens flare, this is about god rays.

this person is right, though. the god rays are incredibly painful and should be deactivatable.
Even after a lengthy session of trial and error (with the possibility still existing of being blind), we couldn't find a setting for this.
The solution up until this point has been to enable "Old graphics card support" and turn everything but textures and AA off or to the minimum.
That's just... not a good look.
Again, the setting could be somewhere. If so, please tell.

No one likes getting blinded by the sun especially when it's one sided which directly influence balance of the match
