If you like rocking horses, Israel is your choice.
Russian tech tree is fun to play till you get in the 4.0 - 5.7, then it's fun again.

Both are nice what ever one you go with the grind is most like to kill your love for the country long be for you hit top tier.

Just remember it going to take you a year or two hit top tier so good luck with what ever one you go with

Russian is overall better than Israel. At the start of the Israel tree, you pretty much suffer for a good while. The SPAA is horrible and it light tanks have only solid AP, so you cannot one shot most tanks unless you hit ammo. The M50/51 Sherman irl is wonderful, but Gaijan modeled its HEAT round similar to WW2 HEAT rounds (tend to be unreliable), so you may pen heavy armor but many times it post-pen damage is horrible for a 105mm. The Spitefires are wonderful CAS and air superiority for 6.0, but as soon as you go for the 6.7 tanks, you will get thrown to 7.7 facing Cold War jets.

israel is a minor tree so there's less stuff, but I think it starts you out way higher in BR. so if you want modern stuff faster it's the way to go

Israel would be faster to grind if you want modern vehicles but USSR is overall a more fleshed out tech tree

pick Israel if you want a quick grind, pick Russia if you want actual lineups that are more than just MBT's
