Why were historical battles removed?

Its litteraly the saddest thing ever for a game which is based litteraly in history

Because depending on BR where one country was technically more advanced due to the year. You often had 300 players searching as one country and 2 as the other...

as said lots of problems. Now imagine that going into cold war and whatnot. Not to mention, what would the matchmaker for top tier planes be? 4 planes a historical BR? Considering the C is like 90s and whatnot

as someone who played since the onset of the game that litteraly never happend. I still remember first gen p51s vs 262s and b17s and people FLOODED to play p51

A historical optional game mode is litteraly that historical mode that is meant to re create the events no reaspn for balance plus f8s? Sydra incident? The iran iraq war? litteraly countless of events

Well I've also been playing just as long, your time in the game doesn't change what I've seen and experienced over the years of playing simulator battles and the historical events that get put on every now and again.

Even with a quick Google search you can find similar threads to this where the EXACT issues I highlighted are discussed. https://forum.warthunder.com/t/historical-events/23730/2

Ground Simulator Battles are evident of this at the moment. At certain BR ranges, you will find an overwhelming number of people all flocking to one side. Meaning that no one is able to play.

To add, I went to check this. Even at the moment, there's 3 times as many people searching for one team over the other, in both BR brackets of Ground Sim.

This is why we need the option for User Content: a full Sandbox mode with Map Editor, with option to enable game economy.
