A Heli, no matter what loadout should NOT be able to get out as first spawn, nor after one kill/cap...
Anti Air? at the beginning of the game? Dont want to stand half the game afk in a bush until a new aircraft spawn. And no, i wont use the AA to fight against Tanks at 2k km distance
Low flying and slow makes it okay to deal with, but can still catch you off guard if you're not paying attention.
Regular planes and CAS is a different matter though
And no, not the first time seeing and recieving that (BTW u don't need to be close to waste someones match with unguided rockets and then your little .50cal is not a thread anymore)
And after someone makes a cap rush, leaves and comes back with a fully stacked KA-50 u just don't do anything against that with those little MGs if they hover 8km away, thats why spawnpoints for guided equiped heli must go up and no Heli should be able to be first spawned also because as soon as those get shot down, u have one less player in your team because he just trow all his spawn points at the beginning of the match being the same as if they just left directly..
On the other hand, I also take down helis with the main gun of MBTs when they are a bit far away (and my MBTs don't have .50 cal MG.
This guy is right. Who starts a match with anti-air when there may or may not be any air units until later on? That is a waste of time just waiting. Even then Anti-Air can only pick off a few air units that aren't long distance every few minutes which don't count against the enemy spawn amount. AA are often left vulnerable to attacks and they may not have support or someone to take their place if they die. Its hard to survive bombers out of range or kamikaze who wont lose a spawn life. AA are often next to useless for attacking or defending against tanks or the objective. Battling a light tank vs AA is a gamble. AA are limited in their capabilities to help win the game.
you dont even need actual spaa to deal with a heli using dumbfire weapons...
with all the light wheeled vechiles running around, spawning as AA is a good option i have more Tank kills than aircraft in my 2S6 by using him as my first spawm
Not everyone that plays this game has 1,000+ hours into it to master a Free-to-play game while acting like they are in actual combat. It's a game, that's made to be enjoyable and match with players of similar skills level. You shouldn't value video game "skills" over actual real life skills.
