DLC's not downloading from STEAM
Bought a few "starter packs" during this sale and they will not download...WTF!!! I am really getting tired of the disconnect between STEAM and War Thunder!!! I've tried everything I know to do, checking game files, making sure everything is up to date, etc.... ANY suggestions??? I've done everything except uninstalled STEAM!!! I remember seeing something not long ago about a few people having similar problems. This is BS!!!! I'm just about done with STEAM completely...

those packs are already in the game and no need to download them.
they are simply called DLC because that is all steam allows them to be marked as.
they are not really "downloadable" content.
the vehicles you purchased will be in the premium section in game already.


just to be sure because I believe this could be the issue.
have you always played through steam?
if no then it is possible your steam account is not linked to the gaijin account.
you very likely could have bought the starter packs for a new steam account and not linked to your actual account.

I'm going to assume you are not a completely new account since you are already aware of similar issues.

I actually started playing War Thunder through STEAM, and linked my Steam account to the Gaijin web page. But since I've been playing for awhile, I have set up a 2 point authorization step for the Gaijin website and did the same to my Steam account. I've bought the Chinese "starter pack" and "Leopard pack" a long time ago, from steam and had no issues with them showing up in the game. I usually always buy from the Gaijin Store, but these were cheap so I just spent a few dollars to get a few vehicles, to start grinding the tech trees to about BR 3. I see the "starter packs" vehicles in game, but they are not purchased. War Thunder still wanting the GE's to be purchased. Seems to be a communication problem between STEAM and Gaijin..... Some really hokey ♥♥♥♥ going on, IDK Maybe they took Thanksgiving off, ROFL!!!

yeah just seems like an error to me. usually restarting the game fixes this.

then again gaijin released a statement a few weeks ago during the anniversary sale, talking about getting DDoS'ed and that some purchases may take some time to process.

Im having the same issue after buying the KA-50 and other people are as well if you look at the reviews for the packs. create a ticket with Gaijin

Got in touch with Gaijin support team and was able to update everything!!!
