Why is Type 10 worse than Type 90?

It’s significantly smaller because the type 90 is too big to cross most bridges in Japan or operate on their mountain roads, the type 90 is literally relegated to operating only in Hokkaido

smaller somewhat obviously equals less space for things like armour

It also uses highly classified armour which gaijin can only guess at so who’s to say how accurate its portrayal is except that it’s probably not spot on

significantly slower as well, but apparently not so in real life.

thats the annoying thing - not as manoeuvrable either....

I have taken my Type 10 out but not the Type 90. I suppose I will have to try the Type 90.

Type 90 is damn faster and more agile, better autoloader too., a joy all round at BR11 but...... you can't get the type 10 shell so it is pretty much nerfed at 11.7. really hard to kill stuff when the max pen is 481mm.

Still, the Type 10 is pretty good and a LOT better than chally 2E at top tier. I call it my BVM swatter. In the words of a famous you tuber who's name i can't remember 'that thing is wiolence...'

JM33 isn't too bad for the most part fighting in uptiers since the weakspots are the same regardless

If you're a regular for top tier, you can make it work with even a 105mm

Aren't the reload times for the Type 10 and Type 90 the same at four seconds?

Type 10 and type 90 have same reload speed
Also type 10 is slow only relative to type 90 not to other mbts
And type 90 can be considered a light recon vehicle with all that power to weight ratio that is significantly higher than on every other mbts
Type 90 is just better type 16 without scout
