They're not terrible for WW2 era, but anything beyond they're terrible. I'm not sure why Gaijin has such a hard time developing balanced maps. Either that or they simply do it on purpose to create an imbalance.
Jungle, Ground Zero, Advance to the rhine, American desert, Golden quarry, Seversk 13, 38th parelell (from north side after the changes its unplayable), stalingrad, Alaska, Breslau, campania, sun city, abadoned town, Japan, spaceport, abadoned factory, vietnam, arctic, cargo port, sweden.
The maps really invite you to go straight back to the hangar.
All these maps are exclusively for close range children. They are the opposite of realistic locations. It's really incredibly sad that gaijin doesn't show any insight here. I would argue that more than 90% of the players are extremely dissatisfied with the maps
