Ground vs Air.
What do you prefer ?

I do like both but I find air to be a lot easier to get into and play, generally less frustrating and when you die, its easier to figure out why this happened.

Talking about BR 11 - 12, you have to mostly deal with radar missiles, fly low and somehow learn how to dodge radar missiles, all this is doable and easy to comprehend.

When it comes to ground units, there are numerous types of units and people who simply know every corner of the map and peak you out from a 2 cm hole between some rock, will dominate you.

For me as an aggressive player, air feels more rewarding.

Are you talking Arcade or Realistic?

If Arcade I have no opinion. I do not like either.

If Realistic, I hate Air and quite enjoy Ground for most of the time (even with all its frustrations and flaws).

Definitely ground in terms of mode. Realistic only. It’s the best air RB experience as well in my opinion, so regardless of whether I want to tank or fly, I do it in GRB. Only low BR though. Everything above 6.7 isn’t worth playing as far as I’m concerned.

I do agree to some extend.

Lower BRs are generally more fun as its really more about skill. Thermal sights and LR radar missiles somewhat ruin it.

Arcade for air battles and Realistic for ground, though I have a bit more fun flying than driving tanks

High tier tech makes the game play itself. You don’t have to aim, the laser rangefinder does it for you. You don’t have to spot things, thermals do it for you. You don’t have the accurately drop bombs, they guide themselves in. Everything gets more and more automated and player interaction matters less and less. Even positioning stops mattering as much since stabilizers don’t punish adjustments and many vehicles don’t have armor for angle to matter.

GRB high tier is literally arcade without nameplates. I don’t see what appeal it has that makes players want to play it except for the novelty of playing with fancy tech.

ppl permanently playing baby boppers coping about being unable to deal with enemy tanks that can fight back. high tier takes significant mechanical skill, low tier is good for boomers and little kids

What skill? Press rangefinder then left click? High tier is faster paced for sure, so the skills merit similar ones to games like call of duty. Quick response and all that. Lower tiers take more mental prowess where you can calculate a tank’s turret traverse time and know you’re safe from them since you engine shot them while you deal with angling for the bigger threat. Tactics and strategy play a much bigger role in lower tiers.

Playing ground and destroying air targets, especially with Chinese TY-90 missiles.
