Is there a way to not have my daily rewards reset as i will be away for a week with my family?

Login daily on the mobile version of the game.

They recently implemented that you can keep your daily log in streak running by logging into a synced up War Thunder mobile account, but since it's not really the smallest game in terms of storage space it's up to you deciding wether it's worth the space on your phone.

Alternatively you could also always ask a friend to log into your account (which theoretically is against TOS but I guess they can't do much as long as the IP adresse's location doesn't jump from the USA to japan to Israel to Sweden and back within a few days or even hours)

Luckily we've recently added the mechanic so you can login to WT mobile and keep the streak. More info here:

Lucky for you they can spy you on your mobile phone too now! Also, decide. its EITHER family OR WarThunder. Cant have both.

How did this works? I installed the app, logged in with my Warthunder Account. Played the Tutorial and tried the daily login on the app first, the next day. There is no indication that it works. In the app I have another gifts of daily login beginning at day 1 and the PC client just shows me the normal Daily reward popup. Woudl be cool if this works. I'm at 1300 Days
