Functionally its FM is held back by the Air RB instructor. Its low-speed sustained turn is actually accurate (16 degrees/second between 300 and 500kmh) but its midspeed is somewhat underperforming (should be like 19-20 degrees/second between 550 and 850 or 900kmh while in-game it is currently like 17.5-18.5). It's AoA is also somewhat underperforming, but not nearly as much as one would think. Most of its sluggishness comes from how ARB FMs are made and function.

It's rough flying it out in any dogfight, think even a Mig29 can beat it currently but it has missiles for days so just use it as a missile bus

It's just how this community works, keep in mind the F-15 which some people consider "dead on arrival" would be "broken OP" if it was on the USSR tech tree with the exact same stats it has now

the su27 is well its an ok jet but in the hands of someone who knows how to use that fine helmet mounted pulse radar it can be a low to the floor air to air tosser
