Absolutely destroying Gajoob and the Devs on the forums.
They proceeded to ban people, and straight up admit that Russian bias exists
practically told us to get bent.
but hey I'm just an American Main it's obviously a Skill issue
Play t72/90 yourself and enjoy your dominance. Maybe. Spoiler: you will suck balls
This is literally a T-72B with thermals and better ammo.
All the Russian T-72 till t-90 tanks have about the same weakspots in all regards and they have about no possibility to play around them due to their tactical limitations (no reverse, bad gun depression) that's a bit set off with a small silhouette, good armor, firepower and survivability.
Having said that they are about the easiest tanks to kill frontally with almost any gun - you just gotta know where to shoot.
Most western models are more prone to survive (unless you take too much ammo) due to them having a extra crew member and a less exposed ammo rack. (maybe also the wrong word there because the ammo rack of the T72 derivates is not that bad protected - but everybody knows where it is and getting a hit there usually kills the tank.
If you hit the wrong spots it can take a dozen rounds no problem - that's kinda the same thing with western tanks but due to them being bigger you´ll be more likely to try another spot in some positions.
If you take the Abrams for example I face them much less often in combat and it´s much harder to get a one shot kill on them - but since I do not face them that much anyway I don't really bother to prepare too much for them.
TLDR they are tanks where its easy as a bad player to be decent but you really need to be very good to rise it above decent (map knowledge, positioning etc. ) while western models due to being more flexibel usually allow mediocre players to be good.
THIS.
I would note that Russian bias is ABSOLUTELY a thing; but it isn't the ground breaking boogey-monster its been made out to be. It exists and anyone who denies Gaijin Rus bias is a lying to themselves, but that doesn't change what is said in this quote. It's 'mostly' true. Stick with it, learn, adjust and yes, 'git gud'.
I'm an absolutely mediocre player, at best; but I've been playing this game since 2013. I know my way around. It can be frustrating, but stick with it. There is nothing quite like WT and gaijin knows it.
Having said all that, I hope you stick with it. It's a rewarding game, regardless.
Yeah, no clue about that part as well, for some reason it's always the Ivans pulling some wild shi1 outta their ass that has never happened or never existed.
