Why does War Thunder update so much?
Almost daily, I see War Thunder telling me it's time to update, and I just want to know why this happens so often. If it's bug fixes couldn't they be released packed together or something?

Why wait on fixing an issue when you can fix it sooner?
It's been broken five days after it was brand new that's why

Constant updates, everything is still broken.

so other people should wait for the bugs they have fixed because your internet is so bad you cant handle a couple hundred mb? it takes seconds even on nz internet, and someone out there is happy that an issue they reported is fixed

It does take only a few seconds, but it isn't enjoyable, and I'm not saying they should wait for major bugs, but if it's something so minor as it seems like it is, then it can wait to be bundled into some end-of-week update.

So you admit it takes seconds, so less than a minute, and that isn't enough for you because it isn't enjoyable?

Spending sub 60 seconds to fix something is less enjoyable than playing with bugs/issues for even one game which is longer?

Because they don't know how to release an update that doesn't bork the game in multiple drastic ways

I spend more seconds of the day emitting flatulence than the average War Thunder update takes to download.

Hi, yeah we try to combine patches together in our It's Fixed update every other Wednesday, but there's a lot of developers who work on different things so sometimes updates get released often.

Isn't it more efficient to just release weekly patches instead of multiple patches a day?

If there's a game breaking issue do you want to wait 7 days for it to be fixed?

Game breaking bugs get fixed pretty quickly with hotfixes on most games. But i can't believe there are so many game breaking bugs in War Thunder that they have to release multiple patches per day.

But if they release a weekly patch, and it breaks something they didn't intend, you want to wait a week for the next weekly patch?

If they release a weekly patch and it would break something I would have no problem that a fix would be coming the next day or something. But this is pretty normal as most (live-service) games have this.
It's just that War Thunder is pretty exceptional with it's frequent updates, almost as if every bug fix has it's own patch while this shouldn't be needed.

wish they balance the game as often as they patch it.
