Aye, scout drones can be a pest, but when youre engine off in full tree/brush cover....its very, very sus.
the player models all render no matter the distance even if they "should" be behind a building, rock or forest.
Planes tanks ships all appear as black dots/smudges.
BMP used to have a weird wire cutter looking graphic at the front of its model that poked up like 2-4m above the tank, so you could see it from ages away. Their were a few other models that had graphic errors also, but they are all fixed now.
Antennae give your position away, once again, a high res for player models but low res for terrain makes them stick out like a specific part on a male dog.
You don't get a spot notification from enemy drones or scouts.
Players blind spot squatter spots on maps and will just lob rounds into them out of boredom, sometimes 1/100 it pays off.
Some maps you can lob rounds like old school MW2 spawn to spawn trick shots.
There are to many variables in this game, but a big issue initially with cross platform, was console get an aim assist and this can also give away your position, though i don't know if this is still an issue.
i have stopped playing due to the snail just not fixing the economy and grind.
Edit: some spelling.
