Good graphic settings?
anyone got suggestions for settings that can improve visibility without making the game look like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ blender render

Try checking out the postFX settings on options, just screw around with it, also theres NVIDIA Ansel check it out, used this vid as a tutorial https://youtu.be/7W6E_X46Aj8?si=H05fo188o_WTVW8k

In-game example from me:

My PostFX setup: https://pasteboard.co/QBgVgSa9AyuV.png

My main goal was honestly to make the game look more beautiful so you could try yourself to suit your taste.

Btw my client is on Full not UHQ so yeah textures are noticeably ass here and there but nothing a sharpen filter could fix

To me is everything on max except terrain quality which is at minimum, it removes that extra layer on the ground that sometimes makes it seem you are getting shot through solid land, and tree rendering distance also can help
And be sure to turn off the option to show grass on the sniper scope, that one is a must

The rest of the game will still look beautiful :)

Just have everything maxed out and it looks great.. what are your specific problems ?

Definitely not the type of game to just max everything out because you can. There is that benefit to having certain things lower to increase visibility of your enemies.

The most important graphics setting is : turn off the gress when in scope

For the rest I'm not going to turn my game into a potato just to get a tiny advantage But If you want to get better visibility : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOaC8cAR3NU

+ turn down the effect settings to reduce unwanted gun smoke and particles.

I have all graphics at max.
Maybe some will have a little advantage on me, but usually it doesnt save their own ass.

I max out everything myself and have no issues spotting at 1440p. Might be worth noting I don't use DLSS and have all the high-res texture pack DLC installed. For PostFX Color Correction is set to Contrast and Tone Mapping is set to Default.

if you play with airplanes turning down that setting will make missiles not render smoke so you wont see AA launchers or AAMs in the air
