But there is a new type of cheat that can only be detected by algorithms and an AI. They are small devices that are plugged in between your power devices and your or console (mouse or controller). Inside is an AI that actively improves your aim and learns from your gaming behavior. This seems to be becoming more and more fashionable, especially among console gamers. It's just sick what cheaters come up with.
However, I recommend you not to go to cheater forums, otherwise you will completely lose trust in anticheat and thus in online gaming. You'll be shocked at all the cheats out there. There are a lot of cheaters among the players and you will be killed by cheaters in many rounds. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about these poor people.
I'm not paraniod, but I'm not naïve, so I always keep myself up to date to know what patterns and behaviors to look out for in opponents. I often watch replays and most of the time my suspicions are confirmed very quickly. It's unclear to me whether gaijin does anything at all with the masses of reports, because every report would actually have to be checked by a human. That wouldn't be possible in terms of time.
For those that suspect someone of cheating, please review the server replay and report them appropriately. For instances of botting, please report them in-game using the botting option.
