M829A3 and M829A4

Its apparent they do not like to upgrade the M1A2's frontal armor. They did a whole blog post on this. However the complete hulls have been upgraded throughout generations. The armor values have changed my uncle is tank commander for the 3rd id. There is significant upgrades to the hull armor from that off a m1a1 thats being sent too Ukraine compared to that of a M1A2 SEP 3. No different than the fact you guys leave out the 4th gen Depleted M829A3 which null in voids the russian ERA 5 and has a pen of 840mm, this round has been used since 2003 and its been present in the M1A1- current of which you guys dont list. The US also has the 5th gen du the M829A4 which has been around since 2015 in conjunction with the M1A2 SEP 3 which you guys once again do not offer. 5th gen can penetrate nearly 900mm or combined armour at 4K meters. Im not sure why you Gaijin handicaps the US. Every generational abrams has been designed to defeat and or reduce the penetration value of its own deployed munitions, Due too Nato as a combine using this 120mm, You guys deploy experimental tanks in the game but dont take the time to figure in service tanks out. A current M1A2 would simply knock out every single tank ever produce with 1 M829A3 round no current armor other than a challenger series has any type of defense to this none the less a M829A4 round.

When Spookston sent a lenghty bugreport (which was backed up by several sources) about the HSTV-L´s Ammo, they refused to correct the values for the same reasons.

Pretty much this^ they also won't change the ammo loadout or apply update packages like my BVM has for the same reason, the information is unreliable regardless of it being public knowledge or secret information being leaked. The HSTVL would be one of the more entertaining vehicles at top tier but as it stands it is a really annoying nat that my 2S38 has to keep swatting down.

Yeah he wouldn't be able to get that. Plus hes older now so hes more into recruitment. The reason Gaijin states is because of the weight and the physical size is the same. They clearly have no idea what and how they do Abrams upgrades. Complete hull revisions are done as in a front lower hull plate would be completely removed and a new hull plate would be placed in with a different combination and density of materials used in layers. The physical size means nothing and the physical weight means nothing as SEP packages increase physical weights regardless as more electronics armour etc are added. Its a BS post with a poor excuse. Like I illustrated about the ammo. Why leave it out? The same reason they leave out the armor upgrades because its biased. While you have J16 or y16 whatever armored cars running around that eat russian 125mm rounds but the same round flattens a M1A2 common. Its a joke. Still like the game but they could make it so much more realistic and NON biased. Like seriously if the Leo 1A5 is able too bounce 120mm and 125mm rounds why did the Germans make the Leo 2. I get its a game but put stuff in its place.

That gaijin assumed the only way to upgrade a tanks armor is just bolt on a load of extra garbage is pretty funny though.

Like no way a country would redesign the whole armor scheme instead of just bolting on a load of ERA and wiping their hands.

There has been classified leaks for the ZTZ-99 and Bradley recently and both of them recieved changes and even massive spall liners for the bradley but none for the abrams i assume as long as no one leaks stuff nothing gets changed.

Remember the chally leaks ? BOOM the chally got upgraded with actual armor and proper values.

These claims already exist i betcha 100bux the war thunder forums is being monitored by serveral government agencies, 18 different vehicles got leaked already war thunder is definitely on their list, and the more gets leaked the more suspicous they will become.

How do you not understand that even if Gaijin added whatever super-penetrating shell and whatever super-protective armor you still wouldn't be able to easily kill current soviet/russian MBTs because along with those upgrades you would also get bumped up in BR to 14+ or somewhere
